For two years, we had the immense privilege of having Shay work with our daughter who has a diagnosis of autism. Over the course of this time, we watched Shay love our daughter the way we loved her. Through her constant love and professionalism, Shay taught our daughter how to navigate friendships, increased her confidence and ability to try new things, and helped her work past her fears of new experiences. Under her care, we saw our daughter's life and future transformed before our eyes. We will forever be grateful for the way Shay poured her heart into her work and into the heart of our daughter! She has forever been changed!

From the first time I met Shay over four years ago, I knew that she was the type person I wanted to care for my daughter, who has severe intellectual as well as physical disabilities. Shay has a warm and welcoming personality and bonded very quickly with our daughter. Rather than just "watching" her, Shay would take her on community outings to parks, stores, and restaurants. It was always clear to me that caring for my daughter was more than just a job to Shay. She was concerned about her as a person and sought to provide experiences that were both fun and educational.
